At Empowerment Through Art (ETA), we aim to be the backbone for young, aspiring artists and educators by providing an art guide one can follow and teach to aid their community. Although art tends to fall under the impression that it's selective or perhaps pointless, its numerous benefits are meant to be explored by everyone regardless of any factors like age and skill set. Whether a person simply learns the fundamentals for cognitive development or utilizes the freedom to cope with stress, everyone at least deserves a positive experience to determine its practicality. 

For this to be possible, however, a good teacher is of utmost importance. Their guidance and knowledge is what begins the spark within others and facilitate self-discovery. Yet, teaching in itself is a difficult and sometimes overwhelming task—there are various factors one must constantly take into consideration. Thus, we seek to provide a clear and concise structure that is flexible to adapt for individual art volunteers to ease their teaching process. Not only will this help fellow leading artists determine the best path of progression, it will also assist in setting a healthy pace. 

In a field that lacks a lot of sophisticated resources, Empowerment Through Art hopes to be a catalyst for student volunteers, but also to stay-at-home parents or anyone hoping to find a direction. By providing sections that provide more indepth analysis and instructions on specific areas, the ​​manual will be a combination of both technique and mentorship. Empowerment Through Art moreover aspires to empower student artists in their journey to help others.
